On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password and enter your email. You'll receive a link that opens ChessWithMe and lets you set a new one.

If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder. Still nothing? Email us and we'll sort it out.

Tap the + button, then choose a 1v1 duel or a group meetup. Set the place by searching an address or dropping a pin on the map, pick a date and a start time, and publish.

Your game appears on the map for players nearby. You can edit it afterwards — everyone involved sees the change in the chat.

ChessWithMe is new in most places, so how busy the map looks depends on how many players are already around you. A game posted a few days ahead, at a public and easy-to-find spot, gets picked up far more often than one posted for tonight.

Sharing the link to your game also works well — anyone who taps it opens it straight in the app.

Open the game and tap the red flag in the top-right corner to report it. Reports go straight to us by email and we read every one.

You can also leave honest feedback after the game — ratings are what keep the community trustworthy for everyone else.

Check two places. In ChessWithMe, open Settings and make sure the notification categories you care about are switched on. Then in your iPhone's Settings › Notifications › ChessWithMe, confirm notifications are allowed.

Open Settings in the app and choose Delete account.

This is permanent. Your profile, games, messages, ratings and photo are removed and cannot be restored. If you'd rather just take a break, you can sign out instead.
